Research, Clinical, and Administrative Interests

My primary research and clinical interests fall within the general domain of adult psychopathology, its assessment and treatment. My research efforts have focused primarily on: (1) the syndrome of depression, (2) the design and evaluation of empirically-supported, cost-effective treatment programs, and (3) women’s health.

My primary administrative interests focus on innovative educational practices, program design and evaluation, accreditation, and career mentorship. I have solid leadership and communication skills and have a track record of working successfully with a wide array of diverse groups both inside and outside the academic environment, nationally and internationally. I am an inexhaustible champion of academic quality, faculty and student advocacy, and an inclusive, multiculturally sensitive, academic environment.
